The T-21 setting retarder is an admixture used when you want to intentionally significantly delay the setting time of concrete. There are two methods of use: as a surface treatment agent (spraying method) and as a super retarder (mixing method). ● As a surface treatment agent, roughening the joints with T-21 allows for work to be done in a short time and with minimal effort, making it extremely economical and providing an ideal joint surface. ● As a super retarder, by varying the dosage according to the temperature, it is possible to delay the setting of concrete by more than 24 hours, which can be used to prevent cold joints and suppress the hydration heat of mass concrete.
